Project with Microsoft
Regional Ecosystem Mapping
We have worked with Microsoft on a diverse portfolio of projects over the last 7 years. In this recent project we created a report, for internal use, with the purpose of giving an overview of the CEE startup ecosystem. The result to be used for strategic decisions. When Microsoft approached us for a report, they proposed a challenge: “A regional mapping of the best startups in AI, Machine Learning, Big Data and IoT, plus the trends that follow in each country regarding industry focus, level of investment and number of startups - for all of the 13 countries in the region (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia). The result was a carefully crafted report with the latest trends in a 53-pages piece, with not only the data requested, but with the added perspective from our ecosystem partners in each of the countries.

In 2017 our relations with the Swedish Government got closer when the then Ambassador contacted us for a project together. His aim at that time was to create an initiative to foster the relations between the 2 countries, Hungary and Sweden, through business. In order to understand the current state of the Hungarian startup & entrepreneurship scene, we created the Hungarian Ecosystem Mapping. An exclusive report about the Hungarian ecosystem history, from first startups, investors and government grants, to the latest information from our network.
