Onboarding An innovation-oriented and Academic Partner to the Nordic Entrepreneurial EcoSystem
The challenge
Our client, Aarhus University, is a progressive university interested in creating a healthy environment to support and foster its students’ entrepreneurial development. Our partner is also the owner of an Interreg project which is a research project that aims to empower start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in increasing the use of renewable energy solutions. The challenge is mapping those startups in the most efficient way possible.
The solution
Nordic Startup Awards, which is part of Global Startup Awards, provided an opportunity for Aarhus University to come further in approaching relative startup by creating a tailor-made Category called Best Accelerator and\or Incubator that is aiming to map Nordic stakeholders (organizations and individuals) relevant to the category plus, onboarding of ambassadors from all the danish accelerator programs.
The result
By implementing the partnership with Nordic Startup Awards, and the co-designed category, our client can receive further insights into thoroughly collected data from the Nordics, considering the networking potential offered by the trusted and extended network of NSAwards in the Nordics, this partnership made it possible to see the industry as well as what SDG goals the companies might support with their product and or service, hence, creating a match-making potential with selected applicants.
Partner’s Project, Nordics Stage!
Aarhus University as a partner of Nordic Startup Awards was empowered with the most efficient tools to reach out to the targeted audience for their project, giving it a bonus exposure into the Nordic EcoSystem, hence, ensuring engaging participants with the activity. Thus, the category is, besides being a suitable vessel for communication, also a vessel for data collection.
Access to a virtual space powered by NSAwards Partners
GSA believes that sharing the right facilities can further support the momentum of the partnership. During the pandemic era, GSA went online with its events, which fostered its flexibility and readability, plus, this promoted access to the tools used, and Aarhus University had the chance to get access to hold two events in VirBELA within 2021. The events can take place within the virtual space of the Global Startup Awards.
